This Waiver and Release Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Stanley Bike Rentals (“Company”) and you (“Customer”) for the use of bicycles, electric bikes, and electric scooters (collectively, “Rental Equipment”).
Rental Terms
You agree to operate the bicycle, electric bike, or electric scooter in a safe, responsible, and lawful manner.
You understand that wearing a helmet is your responsibility, and that Stanley Bike Rentals will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or legal penalties (including tickets or fines) resulting from your failure to wear a helmet.
You agree to follow all local and provincial traffic laws, regulations, and rules while using the Rental Equipment.
You understand that any fines, citations, penalties, or legal consequences incurred due to traffic violations or illegal use are your sole responsibility, and no liability shall be held against Stanley Bike Rentals.
You agree to return all Rental Equipment in the same condition as when received, normal wear and tear excepted.
You agree to be financially responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the Rental Equipment and authorize Stanley Bike Rentals to charge your credit card or otherwise collect payment from you for such costs. You agree to promptly pay all amounts owed upon demand, regardless of the payment method on file.

You accept full responsibility and liability for the use of the Rental Equipment during your rental period.k with confidence.
Additional Acknowledgments
You confirm that you have no medical or physical condition that would prevent you from safely operating a bicycle, electric bike, or electric scooter.
You understand that Stanley Bike Rentals does not provide insurance coverage for any injuries or damages you may incur or cause.
You accept full and complete liability for all risks, including serious injury, death, or property damage, arising from your use of the Rental Equipment — whether caused by your actions, or the actions of others.
You agree to comply with all terms and conditions as outlined by Stanley Bike Rentals.
Identification & Credit Card Requirement
You agree to present a valid government-issued photo ID and a valid credit card upon arrival.
Failure to provide these may result in the cancellation of your reservation without liability to Stanley Bike Rentals.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Requests
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. All requests can be submitted by email at stanleybikerentals@gmail.com.
No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive at your scheduled rental time will be considered a no-show. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued for no-shows. We recommend contacting us as early as possible if your plans change.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
- Email us at stanleybikerentals@gmail.com with your booking details
- Include your full name, rental date & time, and reason for cancellation
- Our team will confirm your cancellation or new booking within 24 hours
- Requests made less than 48 hours in advance may not be eligible for a reschedule or refund
Refund Policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled rental time are eligible for a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
Late Returns
If you need extra time on the Seawall, no problem! Please call or text us at +1 (236) 885-4388 before your rental period ends to extend your booking. Late returns may be charged at the standard hourly rate.
